Then I got the idea: why don't I do it myself? No sooner said than done! Within a week my own webshop was online, with book boxes that you can simply pay for with payment methods that are accessible to everyone, such as iDeal. To my surprise I immediately received a lot of positive reactions in the first week and even a few orders! What turned out? I was not the only one looking for cool, affordable book boxes from a Dutch small business.

Since then Charms of Chapters has grown considerably and has become much more than just book boxes. I have combined my passion for books with creativity, and that has led to new products, such as my handmade book sleeves . I crochet these by hand and they come in different sizes and colours, perfect for books or e-readers. We also now have bookish canvas bags , ideal for book lovers who want to show their passion!
